I have modified my M-LST with twin 3 cell 1100 mah sticks under the deck each side.Ball Diff the Ctr Diff. Trinity Slipper.
Cabon fiber rear upper deck long enuff, forward to carry the Rec'. Put the ESC on the lower deck and toss the Batt holder...We Race on a Foam Tile track and the only way to traction roll is with the rear diff locked

Stray dog, I was wondering how you secured the batteries under the chasis?

I would think by way of velcro and zip ties would be sufficient

Dont need anything to secure then. With any shrink tube on the cells the bottom ctr plate will need to bend @1mm to come tight to side rail's,holding 4 cells tight.
[c/f or stk]
Two of us are running this set up, we did use zip ties at first but found no need for them
I use a rigid solid wire for the joiner infront of the diff.
solder it on with the batts in place and it keeps them tight to side rail.Practicaly snaps into place for pack chgs

you could actually run up to 10 cells...

4 down below
6-up top in the standard config.

Oh snap, 10 cells . That would be nuts. More so if you ran the new 1400 cells

Can only 4 cells underneth? I thought some of the guys ran the regular 6? That would let you run 6 under, and 6 over Have you had thoughts of 12 Jon

I thought the bl motors were only rated for 10 cells. I am running 8 and its crazy fast but top heavy. If I don't switch to lipos soon I will need to move some of my cells down for sure.
