Months ago I installed the GPM Hard Steering Tie Rod (2mm Thick) that I bought from, "r gomez" of RG Motorsports on ebay...

It definitely fit more snugly in the servo savers, but I haven't run it yet so I don't know how it performs and if it stays nice and tight. Updates later this week hopefully.

I was gonna make one too...but good Z-bend pliers are like $25 - $30 + tax, then ya gotta buy the right size piano wire (only $1 or so ), but then ya gotta do some trial and error on the where to bend to obtain the desired length and keep both ends in the same plane...much cheaper and faster to just buy this lil part.

Ran several packs through it yesterday and the steering is greatly improved!!!

While this worked pretty well, my adjustable drag-link mod is ALOT better...and I think it helps the servos last longer because you can fine adjust the synchronization between them so that they work together instead of against each other. Perhaps this is why Losi used a sloppy setup...quick and easy to install at the factory.
