Yeah, you can't get these kind of cells for 90 cents. The CP1700's are great cells, they powered just about every Hybrid out there back when they first came out. A couple of people, troll comes to mind, who ran the CP1300's and aside from some shorter run times, they didn't have any issues with the cells, and they are lighter, so you have that advantage. You can basically run any 4/5SC cell, that's what the kit was designed for, so if you can get some CPB2000 for cheap, then by all means. What we don't recommend is running the 90 cent 1100 2/3A cells. I mean you wouldn't hook a 9V alkaline battery up to your stock Micro right? Same theory, just on another level.
