Tips & Tricks

Here is the place to post little knick knacks that can easily be done with things found in an average home. I'll start it off:

Internal antenna:
Materials: Plastic soda bottle
Procedure: Cut a 2-3 inch wide section from the bottle so that you have a fairly long 2-3 inch wide strip of flexible plastic. Then make holes along the sides; Wide enough to be able to weave the antenna wire through. Make sure the holes aren't too rought or you'll cut your antenna wire!

That's koolio. Hey does anyone know if you can switch out the rear shock for an oil shock? I think you can fit a Mini-T oil shock upside-down, but I'm not sure.

You can buy a vcs shock and mount it but it requires cutting of the rear deck.

Cool I need to do that to my MRS4 CVDs unless the heatshrink is too wide. There isn't much space in the knuckle.

Hey I got another tip that you reminded me of:
Keep grim from your diff
Materials: Heatshrink and super glue
Procedure: Get the part that you scrwe the diff side wheel onto. Put a little glue around the entire round edge. Get a thin peice of heatshrink and heat it around the glue. Re-assemble everything. Hopefully the heatshrink will cover the gap between the part that scrwe onto the wheel and the diff housing.
