Nice! We have 3-4 micro racers that have been racing our M18's up at raincityraceway in lynnwood. Its a 1/10 track, but I actually think its not too bad for micros. We all run some speed 300 variant and the speed is pretty good for the track. On his good runs, oXYnary turns in lap times as fast as 1/10 stock sedan.
Looking forward to hearing more about this new micro track!

Kaymin, I assume the track is carpet, but can you confirm? Also wondering if they are going to have classes, stock, mod, open etc.? Could be a problem since I have lipo, and for you if you get a mamba. Lastly, any idea how big the track is? I've never seen a dedicated micro track so I have no idea what to expect :P
Will call when I get the chance.

Just got ahold of someone at the store, really nice guy. Heres the info I got:
-track will be ready around nov. 1st
-track will be 15'x22' approx.
-track surface will either be carpet or the RCP track system
-he also plans to have a climbing course for the more agile trucks mounted to the walls around the track
-classes TBD, open for now
-aims to support 1/18, 1/24 and mini-z/xmod sized cars/trucks
-mostly stocks mini-t parts now, but plans to carry more depending on what customers want
-general race nights will likely be wed., fri. and weekends
-sounded like he planned on an oval track with something in the middle
EDIT: forgot to ask about track fees.

oXYnary got some more information:
Ok. It opens next saturday, and will be free to use that day only. Its a banked oval on the outside with a roadcourse in the middle combined. Meaning that the roadcourse leads out and in from the oval, so you still use half the oval. Carpet - didn't find out which kind. No official races at this time, more just for people to use. $5.00 for full day other than this official opening.
Kaymin: You might want to contact him as to not throw away the left over carpet as he could use that to make jumps for trucks.

Sat. Nov. 6th
No need to fwd. to oXY since he made the suggestion. He's having trouble logging on since his password got messed up and something is going wrong between this forum and hotmail, so he can't get a new password set.
Think you'll be able to make it kaymin?
We should have at least two from our group (me and oXYnary).
