Anybody from Solano County 707?

I'm Gerald. Haven't been active here since 2002. Just found my way back here. Looking to get together with some 707 folks to race if anyone is still out there

Welcome back.....still a lot of good info here, just the scene is dying slowly.

Hi

Wow there is a big difference in the activity on this website! I remember coming on here and there was postings every day now it seems like an archive! I guess we all just grew older had families , got jobs, etc.

Time sure flies

Parts

I have another micro RS four but I can't find a speed 300 motor plate anywhere

alfred 11-20-2012 07:18 PM

Well since the micro scene died so did most of the micro forums, but there is some of us that still watch over this site.;)

I have more Xray M18 parts then i do for my MRS4's........even my 540rs4 see's no action since its hard to find any flat roads here. Have you thought about looking into a nice M18 to go with the MRS4.
:p

m18

Wow! I just youtubed M18 and those are really fast!

I just ordered a set of replacement tires. Any of you ever try foam tires? My tires are really worn out and I spin out to the right on full throttle. Holding the car on the ground and pressing the throttle, the left rear wheel seems to push harder than the right rear

It does handle the speed well, but its more capable then the MRS4 in handling wise.:D

Rc

I didn't find any M18s on eBay. I did find a megatech pro pulse t100 for $60 with a 370 motor

alfred 11-26-2012 07:15 PM

Based on the RC18t........which is good since mine was tricked out, handling was pretty good and it handles speed and jumps well.

Rc

I'm still debating on it. Do you know of any common flaws on the rc18/propulse?

I remember the MRS4 always broke dog bones, knuckles and diffs

alfred 11-26-2012 07:43 PM

Flaws as in what, well so far i have not had a perfect rc model......you start finding the flaws when you start racing or bashing around.
