carnage list

post up all of the things you have broken i will start
3 dog bones
2 diffs
1 servo
thats all i have broken so far i'd say i have a fat finger lol

BilboBaggins 10-26-2007 07:30 AM

The only thing I've broken on a Pro-Pulse is the front shock tower (it had a crack) and I bent one of the optional RS titanium steering rods (now have Lundsford).

I've broken more on my Mini-T, and I drive the Pro-Pulse harder.

Erock 808 10-26-2007 01:07 PM

I have also broken...

3 dog bones
2 diffs
1 servo

as well as...

1 input gear
2 spur gears
3 pinion gears
1 front A-arm
3 shocks (ballcups & shafts)
2 front bumpers
1 rear bumper

but it is all expected, from all the hardcore bashing that I do! :D

I've gone through hell and back with my Pro-Pulses!!!

But you think this is bad??? Now with my RC18MT, I've have gone through too many things to list! (but that's expected when running a Mamba CompX package with Li-Po set up! LOL!)

BloodyBastard 10-26-2007 06:50 PM

Just as BilboBaggins and Erock 808 have eluded to, I have driven my T100's as hard if not harder than my 18T and the Mini-Inferno stadium truck in extreme off-road conditions. As can be attested to in pics and videos. Yet I can only say that what has had to be replaced was minimal if not just expected maintenance.

To date..

2 spur gears (one due to a temp Mamba installation)
2 complete bearing set changes (standard maintenance considering they run exclusively off-road)
2 High Torque Motors and one out of the Twin Motor High Performance Motors setup. (again, expected due to the 'slotted can' being run in exteme off-road conditions)
1 TX went berserk on me.

Everything else I changed and/or modified was for the sake of improving handling and performance.

As for my 18T and Mini Inferno/ST, I have spent more money on replacing pinion gears, spur gears, differentials, tie-rods, dog-bones, bearings and a-arms etc.. for each than what they cost as RTR's. Btw, just recieved the latest new set of (3)diff's for the Inferno.

..cheers

Pro Pulse B-100 Car and parts

I know this is a discussion forum but I just want to find someone who would appreciate this item. I have never been in RC's that much until I found the B-100 @ Radio Shack. It was on sale for $50 and so I bought it and one of every available part and wheels. I worked in mine for about a week and changed the shocks, wheels, Dif cover Suspension tower and got it running pretty well. I have worked on it allot more than I have driven it. I just like tinkering with it more I guess. The bat was running low so I lost control of it in the house and it shot under my dresser tearing off the passenger wheel arm and breaking off that (CV shaft) for lack of a better term. Every thing else is there plus I have.....
Titanium Turnbuckles &Servo Saver Kit (1 never opened)
Aluminum oil-filled Shocks 1 new in package & (1 installed) still have the old ones
Front and rear Shock tower kit (1 part installed)
Spur gear and pinion gear kit (2 kits never opened)
Drive shaft and gearbox case (one installed)
Twin motor conversion kit new (never opened)
Durability hard ware kit (never opened)
Antenna tubes and body clips kit. (Never opened)
High speed motor kit (never opened)
And of course
The controller, batteries, the B-100 the wall charger and batt pack
And oh yes
Slick tires on rims (Installed and used in street 5-6 times)
Studded dirt tires on the rim (Slightly used 3-4 times)
All-Terrain Tires (Never opened) on rim
And Ribbed Tires on rim (never opened)
I have the blue buggy body

I didn't want to just through all of this on craigslist because I figured someone here might really want or need it.

I was hoping to get $65 back out of it. Let me know if you need it.
I am hoping to sell it together.
You can get me at 405-923-2263
Or sdjennings4304@cox.net
P.S. I'm in OKC
