Okay just got done painting and mounting my new Mercedes CLK GTR body that I picked up at Teamspeedster. I really like this body. It has an overspray film which is nice, but no window masks or decals. However it does come with aluminum wing mounts, nice touch. Well, here are the pics:

It looks very good from the side, but the front and rear stickers are kinda wanky. I bet it would look way better with some more careful cuts. Good job nonetheless.

Yeah, I cut out the carbon fiber decals last nite about midnight. My eyes were half shut when I was doing them. I plan on redoing them tonite. Instead this time I will use the already cut out ones as a template and cut them out on the sheet where I can get a better angle on the xacto.

 I am so jealous. That body looks way better than I even imagined. No worries though, I just got my CLK-DTM last night and plan on unleashing it at the beginning of the new season. :D

Yeah, I really only have the wheel problem with my mod micro. You start out at the widest width, get hit or hit a pipe and they start moving in. The 2 problems with this is that it destroys the raised plastic channel on the rim and they never sit right, or the rims will just split from the added pressure. I just cut out the center and glued them to the inner wheel. It looks okay. I am waiting on powerline to finish releasing all of there aluminum rim widths, I will then pick up a set of em. They are the only aluminum dish wheels that I know of.

Kuel, everywhere I looked for Powerline distributors only had the narrowest front and rear rims. The others were all on order. Will have to check with Steve.
