Alright people, here we are. 2 guys over at SoCal were running with 12th scale yokomo's and they were just awesome.

Would any of you guys be interested in purchasing and racing 12th scales over at socal? With the xray coming in december, I think it could turn out quite well..

post what you think!

I was talking to a couple of the guys up here and they actually brought them up to me today, mentioned they wanted to start a 12th scale class going...

hmph, we may have a new obsession getting started?

man my wallet is going to hurt with these new things coming out, CC/razor brushless, mini-t, xray M18, and yokomo/xray 12th scale? oooh the burn :D

yokomo for $180...I wonder how much the xray will be?

hobby people has a sale on trinity vis extra 3000 stick packs, $23 each, buy two of those, take em apart and you'll have 3 packs for the 12th scale for $46, heh ;)

man, I can't decide which one looks the worst, LMAO

since those fit the tamiya mini's, then how about letting HPI Mini's run? Can those fit 26mm tires or...?

What, no Sub for you Justin??? You can make your own "mini me"! lol

I knida like the McLaren. These things look like Bitchar-G cars all grown up. Comedy! So I guess I'm in. At $235 compared to $180 I may be getting a Yok though

Good thought on the batts Blind...this is gonna hurt...:p

just sold my 540 micro actually ;)

I ran it on 4 cells once, but it didn't handle as well, I think the extra weight kept it planted better.

I know, convert the Yok or future X-ray to a 300 motor and run it on 6 cells...WTF?!?

think b4 you post radishack... come on you get bashed around enough with the 1/10 guys (and they dont know who you are!)... dont need all the guys from the forum to gang up on you at the track with their 1/12...

however the carnage would be fun.. maybe not for you... haha

haha im thinking about join 1/12th scale for a while already. we had a professional team guy who runs a 1/12 scale associated at our local track, lemans karting, and he was ripping. he was chasing the 1/10 mtxs and almost on the mrxs. but when you hear it, tehres just something missing! justin you have any extra micro parts and do you still have your tc3?

justinalamode
10-24-2003, 09:03 PM

yea i still have some micro parts left over here and there, let me know!

what are you up to... we aren't speaking on the 12th scale pan cars, but the 12th scale sedans.. the MINI 10th scales ..

catch me online if you have the chance, i will be online, just drop a message

just remember that the class that is coming to SoCal may only be 1/12 touring... and may not include 1/12 pan... just keep that in mind...

RadiShack
10-27-2003, 05:36 PM
then maybe ill put a touring body over it:D

im aware of that, its just watchin those pancars go inspired me to giv it a try

6 cell 10 turn is a bit much for a 12th scale car, but your car needs some work RS. Like I told you, drop down to four cells. That alone will dramatically improve the handling of your car. 6 cells is too heavy for a 12th scale pan car, especially these new...well new to me:p ...3000's and 3300's. Keep the 10 and cut back to four, then try it again RS. I'm sure you'll like it much better.
