I beleive it. What were you running on? Because a track I know of was using low profile carpet(not ozite) which produced alot of static and cause some peoples electronics to wreck,
melt, and cant remember if there was fire but when theres melting; fire is a big posibility

what paper??

xxtcrgp...if the carpet is gonna cost so much static...i dont think they will use it for R/C...

well they dont use it anymore. They didn't think it made that big of a difference so they got it. That track actually doesnt even exist anymore. Only about 4 people had somthing happen to their car

oh....i guess i shouldn't run that often at my house's carpet....:D

I still run on my house carpet sometimes, but I hate all the hair/fuzz. I dont think it should do much harm just one car, I think it caused more static with more than 1 r/c

darkness2505- I forget I think I asked you this already, but do you live in washington or B.C? If in B.C, where do you live(if not directly in Vancouver)

if you conect your ground to a peice of tin foil thay hangs out of the bottom of your micro then it will be grounded. at least I think. I know there are a few electrical enginers here so let me know if that would work.

i just got back from my hobby shop for them to send it

they told me i should of let it burn and not open it, cuz its safer that way to get a new one from the compagny, well next time i will make a bond fire with it:D :D

well its my first car so i guess i learned something

to let my car go on fire, lol, and take a pic for the fun of it while its burning cuz thats the first thing people ask, lol

and my hobby shop says the customer service is much better when u call , then wen your hobby shop calls, they even did a test of delivery
for a customer it took 2 days

hobby shop 1 week
