1" PVC pipe works great!!! I just built one that is 20' x 40' in a Lowe's parking lot. To hold it down I drilled through the pipe and into the blacktop. I then put a 3" nail in it. I'll try and get some pictures on our web site (www.corcar.com). I hope this helps.

go to like a flat surface outside like a smooth parking lot and set it up and you could use those orang sport cones at a sport shop like scheels

You guys are crazy to try and race a 1/18 on pavement! I can't even go down my driveway without scratching the hell out of my chassis. I even tried a parking lot and there was no way. I guess I care about keeping my car nice, who knows?

i put tacs in the tires of my micro and i drive it on hard pack dirt, it is great it cooks, my chassis isnt that bad either maybe one semi bad scratch but the stock is very durable, i jumped mine off of a 20 foot high stairway cleared the whole thing and landed with a smack on the hardwood floor, everything but the motor survived, the armature ripped through the can on my stock motor.
