thats cool looking, just one thing though the lights are so bright they shine down from the body and light up the floor. nice job. please show us the inside

are you SURE they are neon? or is that the brand name? I always thought neon needed a FEW more volts than a 6 cell pack can deliver.

rcneon is a light company that does headlight and taillights for R/C...I didn't know they make a set of Micro...

How much did that run you? You know you should of waited for the HPI light set...

But that is still awsome...put that in a race and flash people....hahhah...:D

wo , does it go through the normal decals? or am i seeing things:D

and very nice, you could make a micro replica of the fast and the furious if hpi makes the same sivics that were in the moviewoops sry it dosen't go through the decals i just had a other look , he he

here's the pic of the inside. rcneon lights are not necessarily made for micro so i had to kinda figure out where to tape stuff. it also runs on a 9v battery which adds weight. i didn't know hpi was going to come out with lights so i had to go the expensive way ($40). but they come with white, red, and blue for the fog lights.

also, they are really bright--some kinda special bulb.

do you have a link to their web site

04-07-2002, 06:19 PM
the website is www.rcneon.com.

i masked the body on the inside before i painted and made a small round cutout on the headlight decal, but the light is strong enough to go through.

do you know if the 3d-neon thing they sell would be brith enough to see them in day ligth if i want to do the same effect as the sivics in the fast in the furious

04-07-2002, 07:01 PM
holy, those are really bright....I guess the $40 is worth it...

04-08-2002, 05:08 PM

how will you wire in a side marker light?

04-15-2002, 05:18 AM
my guess would be to put it in parallel with the turn signal.
