Plan, not plain. And yes, I would like to see a ball diff that doesn't slip as well.

Hey, if you make it they will come. As long as it's a perfect match without any bs involved to get them to fit.

Most people hate the front ball diffs out there. They suck!! And stock just aren't durable enough. Go ahead and make them!! :)

and don't sell it for $25.. ;) that's a lot for 2 small gears. Just make a lot and get a bunch of retailers to get it off your hands. They will be hot!

yah but the thing is i would probley do a run of only 100 sets or so it depends on what he charges me for them

wel if your can afford it do a run of 200 or 300 to lower the cost then double that as a selling price get a hold of blind and have him sell them on his website double your money and do the micro community a great service

if you can do it, people will buy it.

in my 1/10th scale sedans I've never switched out a gear diff for a ball diff, I like how they CANT slip under power, lol.

and a metal diff that wont strip out would be great.

Well, you won't be doing the work, right? Your going to have to get that gear into a 3-D CAD drawing. Does your friends dad or anyone he knows know how to use a CAD program? Or will they even bother for a son of a friend... Maybe someone on these boards can do it.. Just maybe..

And I sure hope his machines are capable. Those gears are mighty small. Different machines are better suited for different tasks.

we are really good friends with them he will do it if i ask but i can do it b/c i dont have the stock gears nor the money to pat for it

he has some program that has this lil pen this or something like that and u just touch the object in a fet reas and it puts it into cad for u

So, is it going to happen? You keep giving reasons why you can't do it. If you can't then just say so.

There's a definite need for that piece. It's not like it's going to be really risky getting rid of it.

Well, okay dude. Good luck! I hope it works out. In the mean time you could do a few. Make a prototype so you know it will work before you do the big run when you get the cash.
