Both Hobbytown stores in the Metro area will have carpet tracks open in the next couple weeks or so.
Lakewood will be racing 1/18 and 1/24 scale and Westminster will have 1/10, 1/12 and 1/18 scale.

Could one of you local Colorado guys guestimate an aproximate distance (or trip time) to either of the Denver area tracks from the Summit County area? (Silverthorn to be more precise) I may be up that way in January and would like to find a race if I can.

thanks

It's about 2 hrs to Silverthorne. All the way over the Great Divide and Vail pass and all that.

I know one of the two possible tracks in Denver is supposed to race this Saturday, but I can't remember which one it was for sure. :(

The Lakewood Hobbytown is racing 1/18 and 1/24 on Saturday afternoons. The Westminster track will open in a week or so.

Finally the rug is in! I called the Westminster Hobbytown about the racing schedule since they kept assuring me the carpet would be in "next week"(which was 4 weeks ago). The carpet is now in and mayne racing on Sunday the 10th. The woman on the phone had a crappy attitude though............

Bring something to sit on. I guess the seats for the pit area haven't shown up yet.

OK, so no Micro racing at Hobbytown in Westminster. I knew it. If you guys want to race your micros at Westminster, you will have to bring an army of them, because just as before, they are not interested in racing them. There were probably 10 guys there with micros, but no class for them to race in.
