I ordered mine from www.teamspeedster.com when it was first announced.
Was promised it before Feb 1st. However it was not shipped from GH on schedule. Then an E-mail from them last week that GH shipping/packing equipment went down for service and they will not be shipped until this week. They offered to refund my money but will hang in there for a while longer. I just wonder why GH never released a pic of thing?( so people couldn't copy it maybe?)One guy had a prototype he received and said the unit was sealed and unadjustable:(
I just hope it don't end up like the Orion Flash ESC. Get all excited. Order it before Xmas find out it doesn't have reverse lockout for racing and then quality control problems forced a recall of the first run. It was then backordered. One month later I just cancelled the order.Got to have patience:rolleyes:

i dont know about anyone else but my stock front seems to have "broken it" and is almost as smooth as my rear ball diff. i checked all the other cars in our group and theirs arent nearly as smooth. at fist i thought something was broken so i opened it up and everything was good. once this one is worn out ill look into the ball front but for now im impressed with my stock one.

Yeah, the one way works good, but I think that I might like having a front ball diff for tight tracks

We have seen problems with the gear diff skipping when sliding sideways into a wall at high speeds. This makes the gear skip and the tooths get broken. The ball diff should fix this issue. We have it all the time on our small track in Denver especially running high speed cars on a small track.

Thanks for the picture. I was wondering if you have to use the stock casing for the new ball diff, but it looks like it is a fully machined casing.

intresting
i dindt know that was even posable
but how would skipink break a tooth wouldnt that prevent it
how do yo sell if a tooth is broken without disasimboling the diff
i am a candidte scince the rear end on my 12cell setup as taken a beating

This is the Front Gear Diff that has the problem. When the gear skips then the gear diff is no longer smooth. You can feal a lump in the front diff.

a lump well my front diff turns soothly in one direction but locks in the other

I think I read somewhere that the HPI molds are off one way or another. I think this could be the reason why it's so hard to get the gear diff right when building it. I have built 6 and only 2 have come out acceptable.

i dont even thing none beveled gears are supose to work like that
