some type of mechanism would adjust the dual-rate to full or close to it at speeds under 10-15 mph, but decrease it greatly so that handling is very fine at fast speeds, thereby helping straightaway efficiency for long oval courses or the street in front of your house!...

Do you mean something like on the front end of a 12L?

I believe the M8 has the same thing. I just don't mess with it... LOL. Haven't really learned how to use it yet. :o

Yeah, really, just learn how not to turn the wheel as much when going slower, hehe.

true, but when you have a tweaked out mod micro such as woody, very little steering at full throttle will turn the car alot

i forget what brand, but i saw specs that listed "on-the-fly" choosing of that option. basically hit the button on the fast part of the course for less steering, then hit it again to get full steering. still, it shouldn't be needed though. the chassis plays a huge part in the handling and made my BB want more steering. b

exponential steering is what you want, I think all the computer sets have this, they make the steering less sensitive around the middle, but don't limit the full steering travel. So you have gentle steering at high speed sections, but still have full lock for hairpins.

Yeah, it's all about self control.
