okay so i just bought a micro-t off of ebay. and my mx3 will be shipped today so i have a couple of questions. first what is a good upgradeded servo for this if im upgrading from the stock ep? hs-65? 55? i have a reciever for it and also a esc and motor, but what batteries are good for this?

this is what i will be getting/using

my own custom cf chassis
new servo:confused:
my mamba esc
feigao brushless tail motor
batts:confused:

The HS-55 has been regarded as the way to go, you'll have to shave off the tabs. Keep in mind too that if you DO go with your own ESC, you MUST change-out the Servo! The stock Servo is a 5-wire and is completely controlled by the integrated ESC, if you pop a regular ESC in there it won't be able to drive the stock servo.

As far as batteries goes, 2s Lipos have been well tested in the Micro-T already and it handles it NO PROBLEM! You could also go unconventional and run 2p Lipos to really give the Micro-T lots of torque.

The stock batt dimensions are: 32.3mm x 20.8mm x 11.7mm
As long as you can find Lipo packs within that range you're good.

Good luck!

thank you, but as far as the shaving the servo off... im making my own chassis. and after i get my micro-t and make a prototype and a final i will be selling them. im not sure as to if i should make the wheelbase a little longer to accomadate larger batteries, servos, the goodies ;)

Another thing you might consider is the bodies wheelbase.....you still want it to look realistic right.:D

you're being sarcastic huh :) nothing to cool about it. but ya i will be coming out with a chassis with in a month at most. i will probally sell it for 50 but we have to see with the labor and all. i think im going to name it the yourmicro-t chassis. and give everyone that has been a member for a while or something here a discount of 10 dollars and give it to them for 40 dollars shipped.
