I have had two servos just up and quit on me. there is no sound like its trying to work or anything it just stopped. no grinding, no hint as to it was going to die. its almost like its electrical. has any one had this issue?

nope, the issue with mine is they are making this constant grinding/spinning noise but they dont work. sound go's away when i shut it off. hopefully there will be a nice aftermarket servo saver set that will work with better or stronger metal gear servos.

I heard that they have a metal gear replacement. I forgot the part number but if you call losi they will tell you. its not a direct fit you do have to do some drilling but should work a little better. I want to do a mod on mine to use just one servo. I figure if they are not fighting each other mabey it will last a little longer.

yeah but thats a hassle calling them and getting the part and modding it to work. im in process of designing an ext chassis and single servo setup. hopefully it works good. just have to pick a servo thats fast, has good torque and fairly cheap if it ever breaks. i dont need a 50 dollar servo to mess around with.

ok later man

Let me know how your single servo design goes. I was thinking that you would not have to extend the chassis if you turned it sideways and had a good servo saver you could link both sides to it

Can't wait to see that!!!

The JR241MG is a great replacement servo (2 servo setup) for the MLST...but kinda pricey...can find em on ebay for good deals though.
