bought this thing a few weeks ago,, never really ried it out,,, today i went out and played around with it,, and damn,, this lil truck can handle some beatings,,,, i just put an alum skid plate on,, and all i can say is,,, i love this thing,,, got almost 3feet of air,, and landed perfectly,,, still learning how to control it in the air though,,, i may have to change the settings on the esc...

since the front diffs are totally blown out,, i have to replace the gears,,, dont know how it will jump as a 4wd car..

but i htink i should take off the rear foamies since im jumping,, that way it isnt landing SO hard..lol..:D

I have that ramp for my Emaxx. Nice portable ramp for insane fun. Broke a few parts on it. Cant use it now tho, the truck would freeze in mid air.

Those are great.

My son uses something similar although it doesn't fold down, but when we take it out with us it either goes in the load bay of the pick up or in the rear of the hatchback.

How high do you think those jumps are, some nice jump shots. Is that your son or you jumping off that big ramp. Have you tried it with the 18t and did the truck hold up.

Those jumps that the truck (Ofna Blazer .26 Nitro) took were well over 3 ft high
The ramp is in South Africa where my offspring lives :)
I was the cameraman and target :D and I stood well back and used zoom
The Ofna held up fine, as for the Mini-T, no idea, I have to go to Toys 'r' Us and get one of those ramps :)
They are skateboard ramps and are co-incidentaly made for RC trucks too :p

Have you tried it with the 18t yet, im really not willing to go that far yet--lol--. The most i do is jump off curves and that for me is exhilerating enough.

Alfred,

You will be amazed at just how tough the RC18T is.
I am. Some of the tumbles that little truck took today were outrageous.
I clipped kerbs at full throttle and did ultra high-speed flips.
The CVDs held up nicely, the Losi wheels are scuffed and amazing enough the bottom of the chassis doesn't look to bad at all. No major scratches or gouges
The Street Treads are quite soft and they also have soft inserts too. This makes them great for absorbing drop offs at high speed, they actually compliment the suspension by helping soaking up the bumps

I will be getting myself some Losi foams for street bashing, they weren't in stock at the HS, so when they are, I'll be grabbing some :)

Believe me i know how tuff this little truck is now, but jumping of a ramp and going into 5ft of air, thats just too much for me to handle right now. lol Are you trying to give me a heartattack Mondo.

Nice ramps Jaejw and Mondo:D . This truck is pretty tough, but like Alfred was saying, I was wondering how tough? It must be pretty good with the type of air that TPhalen got at that exhibition. I was looking at making some, just never got around to it yet. Good job:cool:

yes the brushless is in,, with the 7 cell pack,, without the cap,,, but the 8 cell is even faster...

alfred

Adding one more cell will give you more speed, so i can just imagine how fast it is, dont be breaking any speed limits man.:D

In the first vid when you were running the 18t in the street, you cut in front of the car and didnt even slow down. lol You just kept on going like the old folks do over here. :D

actually i let go of the throttle before it reached me,, because there is a lil dip that is behind me... and i had to turn the car before it got to the dip..
