I saw a new optional antenna from HPI. Any one care to explain further on it? I couldnt grasp much from the HPI description, and the picture looked just like stock.

I found it. it is thinner and more rigid. it should also weigh a lot more.

do you think its worth the $8? If its heavier, and just more rigid and thinner I dont think so. Doesnt Megatech make some antennas? Are they good?

I want a strong whip antenna that is conected to some sort of servo, so if it gets flipped over the servo could set it back on it's wheels again.

I still like the idea of wrapping it around a peice of lexan.

TGRupert - Someone makes an antenna tube out of fibreglass, it is supposed to be strong enough to flip your car back over by itself...

The new HPI antenna is made of titanium. Supposedly it will act as a self righting mechanism. Tower Hobbies has them in stock.

Go to Tower Hobbies and look under Paragon. I picked up a fiberglass antanae there for $9 or something, and it does keep the car from flipping on its side. I think it helps when I race, and it doesn't weight that much at all.
