it's baaaaaack!:D
this sunday 9/12. the 1/10th scalers are having a mazda race on the 11th so the turn-out for them will probably be smaller than normal, meaning the 1/18th scalers should have more of the track to themselves and we should be done sooner! this is most likely the last race of the summer season, before it's back to the indoors of socal. so come out and enjoy the sun one last time:D

usually between 4 - 5pm, maybe even sooner than that depending on the turnout. it's kind of a long day, but that's parking lot racing :p

I was trying to be positive by saying 5-6 pm, but the fact is that micros were not done till 6:30pm in June, the last time I was at La Mirada. This is the major reason I haven't been back since. A 9 hour day for two heats and a main is just plain wrong. Racing the TC3 in the sedan class helped with the boredom, but it's still a very long day.
I give tons of credit to the dedication of those racers that travel 100 miles for this race.

yeah it is a long day, but for me there aren't really any decent tracks down here. spending one day a month at la mirada isn't so bad if it means that i get to race. plus i like to watch the racing :D

How many usually come out? If there are a lot of micro guys, I'll come out. I usually play hoops from 5-7 on Sundays. My friends and I rent out a gym.

there's usually between 8 to 10 people that show up
if you can make it, cool... if not there's always next month or the 18th for socal.
