utieh, I'm using my mac to view the video and it works perfectly. I bet you just need up to date software. Download the latest version of the Windows Media Player and it will work fine.

I am dl'ing the video now. How easy is this truck to modify. I want to get one but trying to decide if the MaxClimber would be better because it allows regular stick battery pack.

Video was great -

Looks like chassis gets hung up easily. Is it really as good of a climber as Tamiya makes it sound?

stock is pretty gd IMO, and you can easily mod it if your not satisfied
larger tires, lifting and extending...

i wouldnt get the max climber... the stick pack actually raises COG and on the max climber your also limited to using ugly SUV bodies (vs pickups) due the the stick pack config

and most people run stick packs on the rockbuster anyways, it still fits, just takes a bit of creativity
or you can make a custom 2x3 pack... i can still put the 2x3 pack on a 1/10 anyways, you just have to put all the cells side by side

Cool -

Do you have any pics showing someone putting in a stick pack in the original TLT-1?

i dont personally have a pic, but i know that several members at this forum do run stick pack... you could ask there you would probably get an answer

i sorta modded my TLT this weekend... and guess what, now i can climb the step :D

no extension or lift, just relocating the shocks, and placing batteries lower and i was able to climb the step...

heres what my car looks like currently... (messy i know)
ill fix it up later

and heres a vid if it conquering the step :)

great job pomme de terre, my bud`s a rc genious, he has all the parts ordered for me 2 do a 4 inch extension and some stampede tires, along with the novak ss5800 brushless, she should be pretty sweet, theres a huge 40 foot steep,45 degree, bank behind my house, i wanna get a vid of the tlt climbing it, if she can

Nice vid - Was that with the mamba installed?

I have to wait for now, but when I get a TLT-1 I will most likely use my Novak or a some other 540 brushless.

Thanks.
