Well my new tires arrived in the mail today. They are a set of CEN MT2 tires, which from what I've seen are the biggest 2.2" tires you can find. They are 5.25" tall and 3" wide (though I narrowed my rims after these pictures that brought the width down to 2.75").

Since my last posts I've changed my electronics around. I put a Novak Rooster in my truck which is located in the rear battery tray and I've put in a saddle 2400 pack. I now have three cells under the front electronics tray and three cells on top of the electronic tray.

For those of you wondering, I have also found some wheel wideners. www.inetrc.com makes them and they will widen the axels by .75" each. It also appears that there is somebody else that has them as well (posted just last night). My wideners will be here next week :D

My new dimensions are 16" (give or take a 1/4" or so) and 10.5" wide (with wideners it will be 12" wide). It's a serious climber now in case you were wondering

Picture of the new battery mounting. Look at the front and you can see the stack of batteries. This will only work on the longer wheelbase truck since the servo is now far enough out that it is now no longer under the truck.

I just ordered a set of wheel wideners, hopefully they work as well as I hope. I like the design, quite simple but effective.

I think at this point, a 1/10 scale body would look awesome on it Have you considered it?

Yea, I was thinking of the Jeep Rubicon body. I'm also thinking of the Land Crusier and Hummer bodies as well.

All in due time :D . The credit card is being a bit stressed right now, but thank god for mileage checks ;)

run a stampede body it would look more like a monster with that one. it would look like a scale rc with a maxx size body

Here are a few pictures of my truck with the wheel wideners. I'm hoping to field test them this weekend, but initial curb climbing suggests that they will work very well :D

This is a picture of the new front end (with some newly cut tires, more to come)

Articulation shot. I can now put all four stock tires under one wheel and keep the other three on the ground.

Here is a picture of the wheel widner on the truck (with wheel on). It gives you an idea of the extra width.

Truck dimensions now:

Width 12.25"
Length 16.25"
Center Height 2.75"
