Well, I took out my dual 280's.

I now want to make a 540 Hpi micro rs4.

I have purchased a Tamiya 540 motor from ebay, And Already have a 1/10th esc I purchased recently.

I have a ARM chassis but im not sure if that is a 540 chassis or not.

What else will I need, Any tips or suggestions?

not really if you want to keep the ARM just get the plate and sand off the motor plate

Try getting a 540 plate at aktionrc, then your going to have make some major mods. Also try getting a pengiuin chassis withe the extended pod and if you want to make a really great, super fantastic 540 micro the i suggest you get a 540 conversion from aktionrc.

maseeh, you can pick up a 540 motor plate from us here 540 Motor Plate (http://www.danmarx.org/micro/540/plates.html) I've also added a shortened version of the instruction manual that tells you how to mount the motor plate to the stock HPI axle carrier. After that however, you're on your own. The ARM chassis would be a good chassis to start with, but be prepared to do some cutting, dremeling, filing, sanding, and cursing, because putting a 540 in a Micro is not an easy task. Good luck.

All you have to do really is grind down the rear pod and get bigger standoffs in the back. Only if your car is 150mm. You don't need the longer rear pod from penguin if you get a penguin chassis. So all you need is the aktionrc motor plate and a dremel. :)
