Hey,
I just got my TLT and I don't want to put it together without some decent bearings. If you go to Tower's site, it says it needs (12) 5X11s and (8) 5X8s. Is this correct? I looked through the instructions and it appears it would have (20) 5X11s.
Which is right?
Also, which companies or manufacturers do you guys favor?
I guess I also need to but a servo reverser at the same time...
Let me know very soon so I can order!
Thanks
My understanding is 20 5X11s and 8 5X8s. I already purchased mine (Duratrax), just haven't installed them yet.
I ordered one of these:

and two of these:

Thanks for the reply. I actually just got word back from Acer Racing about putting together a kit for me. For $29.99, they will sell the complete kit of (20) 11X5s and (8) 8X5s in their TEFLASONIC Dual PTFE Sealed bearings. I'm sure they would make this deal for anyone and I am encouraging them to put the kit on their site. (They would be the first company with a full kit that I found).
I have used their bearings in my Tamiya Baja King TL01B kit and really thought they were great.
BTW-After looking at all of the pics of all of your truck bodies, I realize that I am going to have to kick it up a notch with my painting and detailing.
Thanks again

OK. Acer Racing now has the full kit on their site. I've got mine coming.
If anyone is curious, the TLT-1 is at the bottom of the models list for complete kits.

I'm not really sure. I would assume stainless because of their standing in the RC community.
