www.slotcar.net IS HOLDING RACING ON THEIR SLOT CAR TRACKS!!!!!!!!!
INDOOR SLOT CAR TRACK REVIEW...........Well I raced on the slot car track tonight........the review
Well, I got there about 7 pm tonight. I talked to the owner about Micro racing on the slot car track again and again he was so very receptive to it!!!
I waited until the slot car track (in the back) was open and politely walked with my micro and set it on the track. I eased on the gas and started down the track. There is a substance on the track that makes the slot cars "stick" to the track with their foam tires. This substance didn't seem to make a great deal of traction nor did it make it slippery that much. 4wd makes things much easier and much more fun than 2wd.
BANKING....... The banks were steep but low and behold the car stuck wonderfuly around it. Getting the knack of turning on a bank was an odd feeling to say the least. Slingshoting out of the corner is a blast!!!!!
The staighaway was very nice and my electronic speed control was getting a work out with its proportional ability.
THIS TRACK WILL DEFINATELY SEPARATE THE MEN FROM THE BOYS when it comes to DRIVING!!!!!!!!!!!
Speed will be in the mix also when winning but driving will ultimately be the difference between winning or losing. I can see a great driver (with a stock motor) winning over a not so great driver (with a mod motor) If the great driver keeps his edge on driving..........the huge powered Micro will need to be tamed on some of the corners by the driver but can HAUL ON THE STRAITAWAYS........pure deliteful and exciting!!!!!
APRIL 15TH......(MONDAY NIGHT...7:30 PM) mark it down!!!
