I use a "grinding" stone as opposed to a "sanding" stone, but I suspect that's what you meant. That way, I can grind down the edges of a newly painted body a bit AND still grind the mounting holes!

cut off wheel for me.

but I also use the sand stone a lot, and also the metal side cutting bit to de-burr and port my nitro r/c engines (the insides are nasty when stock, lol!)

Rough work for hacking something up definately a heavy duty cut off wheel.

Finish work it's hard to beat a sanding drum!

I like that cone-shaped sanding bit. Wheelwells, body posts, wheelwell snags, transponder mount holes, grinding fiberglass and such, you name it.

I have a cordless so it come to the off road track as well. It gets used by everybody hehe. The cutoff wheel is most common or sanding drums but I got the attatchment kit so I have some cool bits to play with. I love my dremmel (well black and decker wizard) it is by far my most used tool....

Can the dremel be used as a drill or electric screwdriver?

I dropped my Black and Decker drill the other day and it broke (it was pretty new too! I was pissed!)

do'h sucks about that one!

My tool bit assortment that I got at home depot awhile back came with a few drill bits for the dremal, so it can be used for that, screwdriver...doubt it, but maybe somebody makes an adapter kit for it?

I bought the complete kit at London Drugs. It was $100 canadian. I got the dremmel, the drill, a sawzall and flashlight, all run off the versa pack batteries (1 or two). The kit came with 2 batteries and a charger and a few bits. I spent another 20 for the bit assortment and got a second charger and 2 batteries last christmas. The sawzall is a little awkward for rc stuff but handy all the same.
