Does anybody know how to get the Dynamite tires to fit on the stock wheels any better? They are almost, well they are, to big around. Glue won't hold them down either.

Are you trying to use the inserts that come with them? Everyone I kknow runs them with the stock HPI inserts.

Yeah, I went out and bought a set of HPI tires just for the inserts. And then I used some spray adhesive to stick the inserts that I got when I bought more tires. Either way, the bead around the back edge of the rim doesn't fit. I bought 2 sets of these tires for almost $20 a set and they are too big for the wheel. I did hear of the heat gun idea, but I don't want to burn them.

Has anyone else had this problem?? Someone was going to sell me a set of them, but now I don't know if I want them.

Well if you hold the heat gun far enough away you could get it to work just right:rolleyes:

I think that I'll just stick to the HPI tires. Thanks for the info though.

If you want some awsome tires go to walmart and buy a 1:18 cale hotwheels car and take the tires and put them on ur micro they are AWSOME. and look nice with the treads in the tires and fit snugly

I have read about this problem with the dynamite tires. I have 2 sets of them and have not had these problems. I used the inserts that came with them on the first set and they plain sucked. I used HPI inserts on the second set and they turned out good.

All we run at our local track is dynamite tires! Never had a problem mounting them either. I think I know what you mean about the back tires not wide enough to fit all the way to the back of the rims they don't really need to be. As far as foams go I use thin foam tape from my lacal hobby store which is single sided. I just cut them in little strips and stick them to the rims and then glue the tires on just like the HPI tires. They work great on our track, way better than the HPI tires.

I still got my slicks on the back and the front diff sucked on my car so i took it out and put my hot wheels rubers on it and it makes the car more realistic if you get those wheels you will want wide tires in the back but i say its work it b/c you get a 1:18 scale that you can admire and put next to the micro so it has a companion
