I have an M8. I love it. The only reason I don't run that receiver is because it's kind of big and heavy. I do just fine with my XXL and the Stock receiver that the radio comes with. Good luck

I got mine about two months ago and love it. All 30 channels at the turn of a dial, no cystals. I have not had any problems with this setup.

Woody: As far as the XXTra being big and heavy, it is only .1 oz heavier than your xxl. Specs from novaks web page.

eXtra eXtra Little, is one of the smallest 2-channel receivers available (1.29" x 1.11" 0.53"). This means tight spaces are not a problem. If weight is an issue, you'll love how light it is (0.48 oz).

XXTRA FEATURES & SPECS
Synthesized FM receiver
Small size:1.65" x 1.12" x 0.51"
Light weight: 0.59oz.
