Has Orion Fixed the Flash ESC?

I'm looking to get an inexpensive ESC for my micro. I need it to be able to handle a 6 cell pack and possibly a big block or mod motor. I'd like to get the orion Flash ESC but have heard of some people having problems with them. Any recommendations? Otherwise maybe I'll go with the Futaba MC230.

I had the Flash and didn't have any problems with it other than the fact that it was not compatible with the XXL receiver. The brakes are the weak link in the Flash. I ended up selling the Flash and went with a Novak Fusion and have had no problems at all. It actually seems a bit faster with the Fusion.

Go with the Futaba MC230. Works great, strong brakes. I tried the Flash, but got one of the first batch that had no brakes, and wasn't smooth from fast to all out throttle. I sure like the size, wiring and price on the Flash!
