If you buy this plate to install the Speed 300, do you need special hardware or can you use the stock screws and such?? The Team Orion Big Block motor seems to come with larger screws and spacers and I wasn't sure if I needed them or not.

The screws I believe are 4mm, they can be purchased at most hardware stores. The spacers that come with the big block are actually to raise the rear deck so there is more clearance between it and the motor.

So if I was to get the Ratzas rear deck for the VCS shock, I shouldn't even need the spacers since the Ratzas deck is much higher right??

You should be able to get by without them using the Ratzas rear deck and VCS shock.

Cool. I ordered the ARM pan chassis and Speed 300 motor plate from American Racing today. Hopefully will be in this week.

Please keep this in mind:
There are several versions of the speed 300. The one Team Orion uses, (which I have), uses 4mm screws to mount it. I checked them off of my 1/8th scale buggy. The Graupner version may use 3mm screws. Also not all the brands will have the same distance apart on the mounting screws. I am certain though that no matter the brand it will be metric and either a 3 or 4mm screw.

The ARM motor plate comes with new motor mount screws.
