That's about where it stands really. But for the price, they're really not that bad.

For the price, not bad. I got it for $30 but the quality of it is a hit and miss.... the plastic is very fragile and the screws seems to strip easy (same with Mini-z) hence i'm trying to get into 1/18 instead... 1/28 is a little too small... and 1/10 (I have no where to run right now)

I heard the new batch of XMod Evo sucks! They do not have interchangable crystals anymore. The car and the controller has fixed crystals! There is a guide to make the car having an interchangable crystal (see AtomicMods for reference), but you still need to find the older to make the controller interchangable too or do your own mod.

Good thing I got the previous batch (Transformers Camaro)... Go GM!

Here is my Xmod that I got around a year ago when I was on business trip to the states.

XMod Evo Chassis with blue aluminum front knuckles and tire upgrade kit (soft rear, stock front). Ball bearings are on the way. Running Team Orion 900HV batteries.
Chevy Camaro body from Transformers (Bumble Bee).

So far so good, I can keep up with my buddy's stock Mini-z. But this thing has so many gears that it is so loud like a real American V8 compare to the Mini-Z.

Should of change the camera setting so I don't end blurring that background that much...

If I'm lucky, I should be test driving the real 2010 Chevy Camaro in the next couple of days ;)

Does look nice man. Have you tried adding more fets to run hotter motors.

Nah, not planning on adding much mods to it. Come one it's a Xmod :p It's more for bashing around than trying to race someone.

Just a thought, so when do you get your mrs4.;)

jcr

yeah not much mod into the XMod because I rather be modding up a real 2010 Camaro SS. That car is so sweet .... still waiting for a test drive (sat in it already)...

MRS4 will probably be this weekend. But got so much school related stuff to do before I can do much with RC... argh second degree is taking too much time!

alfred

But in the end it will be worth it.:D

Now this thread I can contribute to.. I was majorly into Xmods before I got a Pro Pulse, still into these but haven't worked on them much lately.

I'll start it off with my money pit that's not anywhere near done:

Bumblebee, only not so much Bumblebee anymore.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v221/ling427ttvette/IMG_0035-1.jpg

Working on a full GPM chassis, mostly done. Plans are li-po's, a hotter motor (undecided on what to get) and most likely a 2x3 FET stack.

Next is the shelf queen, love it way to much to drive it.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v221/ling427ttvette/IMG_0153.jpg

It's got a lowered body, the Scion BK wheels with treaded tires, AWD, red stage 2 motor with red gear. Nothing insane, but it sure is pretty.

Next is my first in-depth body project, not perfect but I love it:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v221/ling427ttvette/IMG_0398.jpg
I started with that. A stock NSX. I hate body kits, so it had to go.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v221/ling427ttvette/DSC01590.jpg
Finished. The hood has a few issues and the body work isn't perfect, but I am very pleased with that for it being my first time.

Got Barricade, bone stock besides AWD and the flashing lights.

My trucks:

The F-150. It no longer looks like this, but the chassis remains the same. Lots of work to it, to keep the post short I'll just say it's lifted and it has a custom motor for torque only.

The Titan:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v221/ling427ttvette/DSC01599.jpg
Has that as a temporary body. This is the one I'm working on:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v221/ling427ttvette/DSC01660.jpg

The F-150 now sits on this chassis:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v221/ling427ttvette/IMG_0162.jpg

The F-150 was my beater so excuse the body, it will get freshly painted and the headlights taken care of in due time.

And for now, that's the collection of Xmods.. they are fun, but not near as fun as the bigger scale.

Ninja edit: Well, there was alot more pictures but apparently there is a limitation.. so that's it for now, I'll put the rest up later.

It's still mostly Xmod, just has mostly GPM parts and a stiletto chassis in place of the regular one.

The stiletto chassis is not GPM, just regular metal I think but I got a good deal on it. I got the GPM from www.hobbysmart.com or something like that, and the stiletto chassis from a member at www.xmodsource.com

Ebay also has all of that stuff.

Couple more pics of that chassis, and one more of the 67:

Needs waxed.
