Transmitter that I have right now is the JR XS3 Pro (silver one), there is the stock AA battery holder and I currently have some alkaline AAs in there.

What I was wondering was,.. which would be the better route to go:

a) buy 8 (or so) rechargeable AA batterys and use those instead of the alkaline AA's. The Energizer rechargeable's is what I was considering (2100mah range)

OR

b) Invest in the optional 600mah transmitter battery pack and charger.

To me it seems like the JR pack is a little bit under mah and might not last as long as the 8x rechargeable AA's.

Any thoughts suggestions welcomed :)

I would go with the 8 energizer rechargeable batts......they will last a lot longer because of the mah and you can use the charger you have now to charge them......i use the 2500's.:D

i think you can get lipo's aswell.
best thing with lipo's is no memory effect,so they dont degrade so quick
