Agrevating problem with new Mamba 6800 in my 18R. This thing will get down and boogie, when it feels like it. Very glitchy, when I take off the thing shoots like a rocket but, every now and then when I hit the breaks and try to throttle back up, it will just stall, quiver and beep and make a nasty grinding sound, though nothing is turning. If I let off the throtle and slowly depress the trigger it will take off like it's supposed to. Just every time I stop quick and try to take off again it does this. Everything electric is stock except the Mamba motor and speed controle. I don't think it has anything to do with my problem but I am running the MIP super difs.

Batteries fully charged in both the radio and car.

please help, I hate having $300 dollars worth of toy, I can't pay with.

This is exactly what cogging is. Extremely common problem for people with stock battery packs and/or insufficient plugs. Switch to Deans Ultra plugs, and buy a good battery pack. GP1100 and GP1300 cells are good, so are IB1200 and IB1400. There are many good battery packs, and they'll run from $20 to $25. That should end all your woes.

And another good tip you might want to do is too download the new firmware onto the esc, if you dont have a link ask your friends if they have one or buy one. This makes setting the esc faster and simpler then just following the lights. http://yourmicro.com/forums/showthread.php?p=195189&posted=1#post195189

I am using the Intlect 1400 7 cell pack. Guess I need to get me some good plugs. Sorry, forgot to mention the 1400's before.
