How hot does the motor get after the run?

My Hyperion motor is too hot to handle after a running an IB1400 pack... thinking about trying a different motor that runs a little cooler. I dont really need as much power as I have, would prefer cooler running motor, since I never really get up to the speed that I can with that motor. Its great for high speed runs, but on a track layout it doesnt run well. I tried a lower tooth pinion, but it didnt help... I run it with 2 heatsinks on it as it is already...

the motor gets hot.. but nothing that is extreme like i have witnessed with other motors
