Would anyone know where I could get a really small 27mhz receiver for my Micro-T brushless project? I was following along with the Captians project but fell into trouble. I really dont want to spend $100.00 on a receiver. I just am looking for a small one to work with the stock Team Losi 27mhz transmitter.
Any help would be great.
Right now, I have a Feigao motor, Thunderbird 9 motor controller and a three cell Lipo (that won't fit).
Thanks guys.

Hope this helps. I don't know if it will work with your set up, but a hitec shedder is small. they work great and are about 7/8'' X 1 1/4" . The maybe hard to find but if you hunt I'm sure you will find it.:)

27 mhz is difficult.
Take a look into electronics for parkflyers and you will see a lot of micro receivers but then again you need to change the transmitter.
Also from Spektrum there is a very small receiver, get a Spektrum DX2 transmitter and you can fly away ;)

And you also have to remember that there are a lot of benifits going with FM or going all out with 2.4ghz........so that could be something you might consider later on the road.:D

Not too familiar with that rx......you might need to check the phase conversion on it.....dual or single phase......

I'm lookin at getting a new radio system but then i stumbled across spektrum which alfred mentioned. There are lots of advantages of getting a spektrum system but ill list the things that might interest u most:
No crystals required, (80 different channels) it will search the 2.4ghz band and find a unused channel and claim it.
Minimal interference compared to standard RF.
Later on if you want you can get a Telemetry hooked up which gives you things like speed, rpm, temp, etc....
But the main thing that your after is the SR3500 DSM 3-Channel Micro Racing receiver.... http://www.spektrumrc.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=SPM1210
Weighing in at all of 6.5 grams and measuring only 1.06 x .78 x .48 inches. ;)
lol I sound like a sales person :P
hope this helps,

If you really think about it, it just makes things simpler.....i went with crystals but hated it, then i went synth and i guess the only problems with them both is that you would have to bring your micro or basher in to change frequency.:D Who really wants to do all that when your having fun.
