Hey, I found this site on google...great so far! I never really belonged to an 18th scale forum, but I read many of them before now.
My name is Dan and I'm 16. I live in the OC (I hate the show...) and I own three cars and a plane. Someday I will get a heli, but I'm waiting. I own a T-Maxx, a Rustler, and an Xray M18.
My first car was my Rustler and I got it in the winter of 2001 and it was stock for a while...then I caught the bug! As of now, it is pretty much as far away as you could get from being stock. I spent three months with a dremel and a scroll saw and now it's race-worthy. I stuck a 10x2 Orion motor with a GT7 and a Novak XXtra Rx. Crazy fun to drive...
My T-Maxx was my second car in 2004. Now it's about 30% stock parts. I upgraded the servos, Rx, Engine (to a TRX 2.5 R), chassis, bulkheads, shocks, CVD's, 0and countless other parts. The thing is pretty much bulletproof now.
My M18 was a christmas present to myself 2 years ago. Now it has a Motek Panther R2 chassis, Hitec MG-81 servo and a Castle Creation Cometition X motor. Need some new tires for it, but that can wait.
I recently got a plane...it's a Wattage Cessna 180 trainer. I'm not too good at flying it but I'm learning!
I'm hoping to become an electrical engineer so I'm proficient in electronics. If anybody has any electronics releated questions, don't hesitate to ask.
