Mistake 1: I ordered a 6v 300 graunper motor, but i did not order the motor plate, so i rigged the motor plate to make it fit. Where can I find a 300 motor plate?

Mistake 2: I ran the stock pinion on the motor, so it ultimately stripped the teeth off of the gear, what sizes and what kind of pinions do i need to order and from where?

Problem 1:I am running the stock tires on my non-drift mrs4, im guessing a soft rubber compound, i will be running on carpet and smooth concrete, what type of tires do i need?

I got a decent deal off of ebay on 2 -7.2v 2200mah NiMh packs for 20 bucks, so i think im good there

Thanks for any help

Your best bet on the motor plate would be to check ebay.....since there becoming harder to find of course........and as for some hopups and pinions go here and check them out.... http://rcraceday.com/comersus/store/comersus_listCategoriesAndProducts.asp?idCategory= 24

And for running on carpet get some hard foams for the front and medium to soft foams for the rear, now if you start to traction roll through the corners then put the front rubbers back on. http://rcraceday.com/comersus/store/comersus_listCategoriesAndProducts.asp?idCategory= 25

And as for the gearing for the motor i find that the 12 and 13t works best but it all depends on the track your running on of course.
