Look what the mailman just delivered .......It's the LRP/Anderson/Duratrax/Yokomo Shark ST/Vendetta ST/MB-4 Truggy. I couldn't wait for tower to get them (I'm not a patient person)so I ordered it from overseas. It's the ARR version - no radio or esc but it does come with the motor. I got it shipped for $157 from Japan.

Send them an email and they will send you a price quote - it will be in yen. Ask for the Yokomo MB-4 Truggy. They have the ARR version in stock, but they said that they can get the RTR version if you want. They take Paypal and you will need to choose Yen as the currency for payment. I paid on Sunday night and it just came today. They ship EMS - Global Express. With the time difference it ended up being sometime in the middle of the night before I got a reply from them, but they always replied within a day.

Not sure yet. The track I race at only allows the Associated Super 370 motor, so I guess that what I will be racing with there. I still need to get a good ESC to use. They allow reverse so I need to take advantage of that. All I have for brushed that has reverse is the Xray ESC that comes in the combo pack. To play around with and race at home, I have a Quark 33 Procar but I am not sure what motor to use for this truck. I bought a Trinity Cobalt B to run in my M18t but I think it might be alittle too small for this truck. As for the servo, I am using a Hitec HS-5245 - it's digital and metal geared.
Any sugestions for a good reversing ESC? I am thinking about getting a quantum reverse 2 Pro. I know its probably a little over kill but what the heck.........it's only $$$ right. :D

I would go with the Quantum....i use the Quantum Reverse the older version and love it, its still going strong and i have never had any problems with it.

Well, I ended up ordering a GM V4R for it. I used to use GM V12 in my other cars and loved them, so I figured the V4R would be a good choice for this one. I got the last one at Stormerhobbies for $49. I was ready to get a quantum but then started adding up all the other things I want to get for it - ball diffs, swaybars, graphite chassis, metal universals when available..... It all just got to be alittle too much $$$ for a 18th scale car.

I really like the V4R - it was a little confusing trying to get the different settings configured, but its all good now. :)

On the GM esc's i like the fact that there's no delay when you push the trigger forward for brake......this allows the user to fully stop before going into reverse when you push the trigger forward again.:D
