I found these ceramic transmission bearings at ATOMIC MODS.COM. Seems a little pricey, but the size of the bearings are listed there.

Are the ceramics really THAT much better? Why are there only 2 bearings in the tranny?

ceramic bearings have less friction than normal bearings and harder balls internally. they will generally last longer.

are the ceramic bearings for the entire truck, or just the tranny?

Ceramic bearings are going to cost ya. :) The chrome/steel work but will not last as long. Doesn't look like there is room in the tranny for more bearings....wish there was though...might help the diff action be more even and consistent. Fun little truck though!
