Well jaejwl, my vendetta is supposed get shipped tomorrow. I can't wait for it to get here. I am thinking I ain't going to like that speed control, or radio. I have an extra Spektrum receiver lying here and a LRP AI RUNNER SERIES with reverse ESC here too. They both may end up in the Vendetta

I have a Vendetta as well and I've upgraded almost everything. The stock transmitter, receiver and ESC are adequate but it would have been nice to lockout reverse for racing.

Agreed, and I also understand it does not have a brake.

The ESC goes into reverse almost instantly, so effectively there isn't any brakes to speak of.

depending on the coursen the drag brake is enough... it was for me.. but if you do that make sure you buy a few items now,, that way you wont be bummed when those items break..
duratrax has steel cvds now with outdrives..
vr3 motor ,,, with advanced timing..
springs
shock oil,, heavy.. im using 70wt in front and 100wt in rear.. but find the combination that works for you..
also will you be bashing or racing.. either way keep in mind i have steel rear hinge pin braces that is going to last you a whole lot longer than those alum ones that the car comes with (aswell as the upgrades)..

i also have a detta. if your bashing imo you made a bad choice. but if your racing congrats. jae made a good list of upgrade that you will need very soon. i broke the stock cvds the second run at my track off the second jump(yes i landed off throttle and no i didnt case it) i landed perfect but the stock springs and oil let it chassis slap so hard i actually broke my front cvds.
i use hard springs and 100 weight all around. and i dont have any more problems. hope that helps

what kind of track do you run on,,,10th scale dirt or 18th scale dirt,,, or carpet.....
also how do you like your set up with heavy springs and using 100wt in the front,,,, does it bounce around a lot,,,,,,,,,, also what do you have powering it?

ok im turmoil from one18th and i told you most of the stuff there but again. i run on 1/10 dirt and 1/8 scale dirt out side and real rough. it doesnt bouce around alot. with my suspension setup it has just enough suspension to soak up the bumps left by the nitro. and i have a vr3 wit advanced timing. i gave my brother my wraith from my detta since racing is over. im proly gonna sell the detta and buy a m18mt. and by spring ill have a brushless mlst and
m18mt and m18. i really just dont like driving the detta as much as the other cars on the market. i used to turn faster laps with it but now that ive tweaked my 18t with some mods i thought of im faster with it. so if you want a detta roller pm me here. it might go to the classifieds

That isn't fair. That would imply they are clones, when in fact the same master company (Anderson) makes them all. LRP and Duratrax just relabel them.
