Fresh From The Paint Booth!

here is my micro t body that i just finished painting this morning. what do yall think? it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be to paint this little thing.

I just love it man....how long did it take you to paint that sucker up, love the side by side comparison to your cell phone man.:D

it took about 45 mins to lay the paint down. and about 20 mins to cut the liquid mask.

where did you get a clear body?? or did you strip the paint off your stock body?

i stripped the paint off the stock body. thats was more of a pain than painting the thing was.

Well i know how rough you are with your rides man......so i nice looking paint job wont do you any justice......you might as well run the lid with no paint at all....have the body all clear....lmao.......too me that is something that suits you......just joking buddy.:p

you know I was thinking of doing that,,,, having the clear body being the main color and then adding graphics...... might still do it for my vendetta..... and my 10th scale

what did you use to strip the paint without eating away at the lexan? My g/f wants me to paint hers pink :eek:

denatured achocal however u spell it.but that is more of a pain in the but than painting it.

i refuse to strip any more stock bodies. if i start painting these for other people, it will be when losi comes out with a clear body, and price would range on what they would want done. also, i only take in bodys i have time to do, and right now im backed up with bodies so it would be a while before i take any on

Losi introduced the clear body in Feb. Got one yesterday. Very nice. Went with floresent race color red with black outline around wheel well. Comes with stickers. Time for me to hone my painting skills. Nice pics on this thread. I got alot to learn about painting. Any tips appreciated. Thanks.
