I just got done racing at a pretty decent track in Colorado. They are very structured with their program. Hopefully they'll get some better carpet, but all in all, it was a good time.

Our races here last nite were insane. They was about 56 or so racers. We had 5 heats of stock class and 2 heats of mods. If you live in the area, you owe it to yourself to come and check it out. Great people, and many are more than willing to help you out.

Yeah, the racing was pretty cool. I actually had to pass tech twice. I think they need to be a little more strict with the schedule though. Racing until 2am gets a little rough sometimes. By the way guys, they post the winners of the races for everybody to see on the web site.

8th place in the c main is still pretty respectable when 50 some odd racers show up.

When you have an E Main in the stock class, as our track seems to have most race nights, a finish in the middle of the pack is not bad at all.

I have actually done a lot worse, My first couple of 1/10 scale races were not very pretty at all. I have a few years under my belt now though, so I place pretty decent most of the time. But like they say, "every dog has his day."

Armithius, this is Jon, I live in the Springs. I talked to you like three weeks ago about going to the track. Well, I have had some problems getting my car to work right as you can see by my posts under Z-Axis. I really want to go there this weekend, are they racing?

It would be the weekend of 3/30.

Hit me up through e-mail?!

Okay everyone a little update on our track. In 2 weeks, (April 27th), we will be starting a 3rd class for micro's. Our new class lineup will be as follows:

STOCK
Micro must be stock with the following exceptions:
-May cut your chassis for traction
-May use any rubber tire made for the micro
-May change the springs
-Any stock motor (HPI or Orion)
-No more than 5 cells (nicad or nimh)

SUPER STOCK
Any modification is allowed with the following exceptions:
-Any stock motor (HPI or Orion)
-No more than 5 cells (nicad or nimh)

OPEN
Anything goes

This will allow us to get more people in the racing cheaper. Then for those who want to mod their cars without jumping to the speed of mod you will have a class. And lastly for us speed nuts we will have our open class.
