Hi Yall!! My real name is Tom, and Im from Round Rock Tx. Which is basically Austin. My son Ryan and I have been racing for about 5 years, and have ran mostly 1/10th scale electric offroad Losi stuf, and tried onroad and never liked it. We have both gotten Prospecs now, and tried the RC18ts also, and think that they are to Fragile. We just got Vendettas, and they seem to be alot better than the 18ts. I know its hard to believe, but true.
We both play guitar, and Ryan is a great soccer player, and that consumes most of our time since he plays select ball. Enough B.S.....See Yall in the forums!

wingnut, have you considered racing on a dirt oval? There is a new indoor banked clay oval in Robinson. All abilities are showing up to race there. Some from Austin... some from Dallas... and everywhere in between.
My son and I race our 2 RC18T's in a 1/18th scale class there, and will probably be there next week also. Races are on Saturdays and begin at 6:30. Practices begin at 5:00.
703 Robinson Drive
Robinson, TX 76706
Any questions?

Actually thats one of the reasons that I got the 1/18 scales. We are going to race them at Ncomtrol in Round Rock, and will try to get up to Waco somtime. Are you on rcfiles.com??

I don't post a lot on rcfiles, but I read the threads daily. It's the same user name "mentallylost." I have also been one of the few who has been working on the Killeen track.
