i need something i can run off-road. i considered the american offerings, but...

i'm sticking with xray.

i want to run the trinity motors i run in my m18, the 280 can. i see the m18t comes with a composite mount...i assume since these cans have two sets of holes it'll work in that truck, however, do you guys upgrade to a metal unit? from what i've seen, most peeps just upgrade the cvds.

also, what wheels can i get to mount to the xray m18t aside from the xray units?

thanks players!

Congrats on getting one soon man.....you will love putting it together man. Most people upgraded the cvd's first because there were the weakest link.......As far as the wheels go you will need to use the Xray rims for now....since they are the only ones that will fit....but as for the tires its up too you. Its taking awhile for us to upgrade our M18t's because of the fact the option parts havent been out for very long.....some people are picky and waiting for the Xray parts to come out.....You can find a good selection of hopups at rcraceday.

Before you know it built, you will be at the local track pouncing the competition. Your backyard wont be able to hold it back (well ok, maybe the tall grass).

I would also recommend a new spur if yours doesnt have a "h" stamped on it. The original unhardened stock ones d ring can strip out.
