Okay.... I've been thinking about getting an offroader for the past month... i've gone from wanting a Vendetta, to a Mini Quake, to a Bandit, to a Mini-T, to an RC18B, to an RC18T, then a Mini Inferno, and now, I want a Nano Dragon. Yes I have trouble making up my mind on everything. The Nano Dragon is made by the same dudes that make the IWAVERs. They're basically Half-8 knockoffs. $65 each, with:
1. RTR
2. Painted body
3. Computer Radio with 10 model memory
4. COMPLETELY interchangable with the Half-8.... Any upgrade that fits on the Half-8 fits perfectly on the Nano Dragon
5. Still uses the 6 AA cells, which is a huge plus for me

Well? because of the REALLY cheap price tag I think it's the best way to go. My friend has one. He says it's very fast stock, and that it's extremely durable and beuilt really well. Also, with this car, I can just use the comp. radio for the Nano and also for the MRS4, so I won't have to switch transmitter batteries and stuff.

In other words its a chinese clone (probably just molds of Kyoshos final pieces) just like the original iwaver was? I don't see how running 6 AA cells is a good thing. They dont have the amperage to really work well for offroad. Ask anyone who owns a 1/2 8 just how slow it is stock.

EDIT: It has got to have the UGLIEST body I have seen.

(You forgot to mention the Xray M18T. Not a RTR, which is the best for knowing how the vehicle works.)

If I were you, which I was a couple of weeks ago, I would choose the RC18mt. Its got all the necessary hop-ups for a nice, quick basher. It has big tires so it can handle rough terrain and its practiclly unbreakable. Everytime I do something stupid and smash it against a wall or land upside down from 5 feet in the air it just keeps on goin. At 170 bucks you cant really beat it considering how fast and durable it is. Good luck with your decision and have fun bashing!

Yes but you need to buy chargers and stuff... I already have a Ni-MH 15-minte charger and tons of AA cells. I have many friends that have bought this and it runs right over anything.... Tall grass, rocks, etc. It's also very fast.

No it isnt fast.. I watched the vids on ToysEast. Slowwww.... I mean if you think thats fast.... well. Bring out a rc18t stock, and you will waste your friends.

And BTW, my friend said it's very fast stock... And yes I've seen the videos of many different buggies and still this car seems like the best choice so far. I'm also looking on spending around $100 or less. I would HIGHLY perfer that the car uses AA cells. That's why I bought my MRS4 in the first place.
