went to walmart near my parents house in corona CA and saw in the toy section a new rc,, i havent seen this rc at any other walmarts near MY house,, it looks to be a mini-t copy or atech.. it is toy grade but nonetheless it is a step in the right direction,, it seems to have friction shocks and it advertises that it comes with a 370 motor...... im sure daniel could put his spit on it...
they also have a 4wd version,, but looking at the pic on the back of the box i was unable to tell what scale size it was,, and they have an onroad aswell... dont know the potential of one of these. dont know what you could change in them, dont even know what the chassis looks like,,,, but just for fun and only 44bux it may be something worth getting for a younger less enthused person or even one for ourselves for indoor play..
i didnt get a good look at it,, i saw it and tried to get asmuch info as i could,, thinking that all wlamarts would have them,, but i was wrong,, now im cant remember the name nor the maker,, i saw a lil sticker that said "hot wheels" but searchiing the web i couldnt find anything..
if anyone has seen this TOY can you please provide a lil more info on it... thanks

The Atech stuff isn't too bad but certainly not brilliant
Atech are the guys who make the Leo-X also known as the Venom Mini Giant, so their new 4WD buggies are not a new market to these guys. In fact we discussed these products a while back (http://www.yourmicro.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16639) here on YM
For the cash they're worth it, most who own them use them as pure bashers... quite a few UK Microteers have bought them
