mini t motor problem

ok I was running my mini T for the third time, and I ran it about 5 minutes and the motor started smoking, and quit all out, I've had the car a week, and it might have an hour on the motor itself, my gear mesh was perfect, and so was the slipper, just burned up, any ideas as to why, and if Losi will replace it?

ok I called losi, they are sending a new motor, from what I gathered from my LHS about 50% of the mini t's sold at hobbytown in arkansas, had this exact same problem, within a few days of buying their mini t's the motors burned out, mine came completely unwound
