It really doesnt look that bad, and still is only 80ish with shipping.

What about some of you die hard HPI guys that are still pissed off at Xray? This would be a perfect chassis for you to try out.

funny how its "designed by mr hirosaka" but all the hop-ups for it are just links to M18 parts.

IMO it looks like a M18 with the penguin shock layout towers and a few differently molded pieces and a funky upper deck.

probably a really good value for the $55 + $30 shipping from rcmart.

I know what you are saying though. I think thats a trait of Hirosakas designs. He starts with one car, and ends up with another. He has some 1/10th he is working on that he admits started out as a pro4 and only ended up like sharing the diff housing and diffs.
