Cheapo Duratrax Spike Fwd/brk Esc

I noticed this in tower's scratch and dent section (http://www.towerhobbies.com/listings/listdent.html) for only 14 bucks. thought it would be a great find for a beginer. They also had a what i think is a mini-z with box dammage for 111 down from 169.

ifd you want there is one now for 23 bucks. last night they had a T-Maxx for 193 but it's gone. they also have a bunch of Hobbico servos that would work on a micro for only 13 bucks.

what kind of steering servo?

ran a hites 525bb for awhile(not impressed) and been using futaba s3003 servos and stripping plastic gears.in the market for a good dependable servo that won't cost me an arm and a leg.
